Commemorative Weather Vane
I am extremely grateful to have been commissioned to design and build a new weather vane for the newly refurbished thatched roof, of the North Devon Cricket club Instow.

The wrought iron weather vane depicts the silhouette of the late great Cricket umpire Dave Shepherd MBE. Dave Shepherd lived local to the area and was a big supporter of the club.

Its Been a busy week but managed to get out and about and meet some interesting people living in amazing places.
Laid this heavy sleeper base for the delightful Penny Moon. she is now eagerly awaiting the delivery of her new green house.
Later in the week i was able to get out to Hartland to fit this sill and frame section to this Door at Harton Manor. quite humbling working in wood for one of the great masters of joinery, " David Charlesworth.

Wrought iron gate & screen
Been a while since I posted any news but things have been happening. been busy with lots of projects and only covered a few. Last week i got the chance to make some Wrought iron work. im quite happy with the results.
Thanks to DC Iron i was able to order all i needed through their fabulous online site, the guy on the phone could not of been more helpful.
To make the arched top steel frame i needed to roll some flat bar. i tried bending it between a couple of steel pegs but the results were not good. So I built a steel roller.
